Shutter Island! REALLY disturbing and unnerving...it wasn't scary, but it was definitely creepy. I felt like I was watching a classic mystery movie. Leo was fantastic. The ending left me cold, but it was realistic.

Juts kind of weird. I mean, i wasn't really bad, but i feel like it was taking itself too seriously. The story was all jumbled up so it kept jumping around from the past, to the present, to things that were just the characters imagination, which i suppose added an extra level of intrigue, as you sort of had to piece it together, but i don't think it was entirely necessary. I usually like the 'puzzle solving' kind of movies, but this movie just seemed like it was jumbled up for the sake of being artsy. Also there were some painful acting performances too.

The fact that it was filmed in Toronto was cool though. Whenever i watch a movie filmed in Toronto i always try and guess the locations...its cool to see a movie happening on my 'turf' LoL.

Sideways - I was with a bunch of friends and I don't think this was the right mood for the party but it was okay, I think I would have enjoyed it more on my own. Just pretty slow.

The Hangover - This was more fitting! Light entertainment, had some good funny bits.

Black Sheep - I did NOT want to watch this, I was forced! I only watched half an hour or so then went to bed. I thought it would be the worst thing ever and it was.

Get Smart - Didn't follow the story at all but was funny.

'The Hurt Locker' · Wow was that one dull movie! It was really such an empty, shallow story that was made out to be really 'deep' and 'strong' but didn't seem to go anywhere. It bugged me that the whole 2 hours between the the quoted 'Prelude' and the final two scenes were really just there to have something to tie them together. Having it be 2 hours...was just torture.

Lolita (1997) I saw it years ago but I think I was too young to follow.

A couple of nights ago I watched 'In Bruges' and actually REALLY enjoyed it! I've never been a huge fan of Colin Farrell as an actor but I really gotta give it to him- he did quite an awesome job in this movie! The script was really well-written and the comedy was AMAZING! Im a big fan of subtle, not-so-lol comedy and this was perfect at just that! Easily one of the best and darkest dark comedies I've ever seen...whilst still managing to keep its cinematic integrity in-tact. Very impressed!

'The Losers' I was SO excited to see this after the trailers! It looked like my kinda movie...but seriously, TOTAL.WASTE.OF.TIME (well, not TOTAL because Chris Evans looks SCRUMPTIOUS throughout all of it!). Im usually easy to please- especially with action packed comedic movies...but this felt like ti was some B movie or some awfully made satire that forgot it was a satire half way through!

    Spoiler:
Not to mention NOTHING HAPPENS in the whole damn movie and they pretty much set themselves up for a sequel! WHO would go see the sequel to THAT?!
