    Books/Reading/Whatever Section

There's a thread (started by the lovely, wonderful Brett), and I was wondering if there was any way to make a separate forum for threads on books that are out or are about to be released. It just doesn't make sense for that type of thread to be in the Writing section.

I'm not home and not in reach of a messenager program, so I would normally just IM an Admin and ask about this, but I'm at a friend's house tonight and will be out all tomorrow in St. Petersburg, FL doing Gay Pride.

So I thought, before getting in bed, that I would post this as a suggestion.

    Thanks for listening.

I just remember the Book section at TMR not being very popular.

I agree, but the Writing section doesn't seem the appropriate place to put those kinds of threads.

Bad idea IMO, like Michael said it's just never been popular.
The writing section is barely popular as it is now.
I think a better suggestion would be to make the writing a forum for Literature, thus books and poetry That might generate a bit more interest.

I would love a books and reading section. I just started a new book list, and would love to share it with others. I also love reading reviews on books of interest to me. It may not be very popular in comparison to other sections, but there will be a number of us that will enjoy it.

Plus, another thought - even if it isn't the most popular section on the forums.. who is it hurting to have it there for the few of us who would want it, you know? If someone doesn't want to see it, they can always exclude it from their forum view.
