Use Vaseline. Like Gretch said you can just glob it on. It works for super chapped skin. Glob it before bed too.

I Blistex's Lip Conditioner (in the little white tub)...Carmex is fine, but it doesn't smell as nice haha and I always freak about the rumour about the ground up bits of fiberglass in it.

Blistex also has a lip balm in a tube called Complete Moisture that I really like...

I don't find the Body Shop's lip butters did anything for me...they smell great but they're not much for soothing.

I think Blistex is a pretty safe bet. Oh, and I don't know if they have it in the UK, but LABELLO (or however you spell it) is AMAZING. I think Nivea owns Labello though, so their lip stuff is probably the same thing.

I have really really dry lips all year round and I use Vaseline. For it to really take effect though you need to go at least 2 days of having it on constantly. Even when you feel there's still some of your lips, put another layer on. You need to keep them moisturized. After that, you can just put it on when you feel like it.

    I'm the one. Love me.

I bought some vaseline with aloe vera today. It seems to be OK... I shall glob it on majorly before bed
The sides of my mouth are the worst though, I can't really move my mouth a lot when I speak at the moment :| Else they just split and bleed

I use Vaseline mostly, except my Aunt bought me some really nice Molton Brown lip stuff that I love now. But I LOVE Carmex too, just for the tingly feeling it gives you. haha

The vaseline has really soothed the pain
I still crack if I open my mouth too wide though LOL so eating is a bit of a pain, but I figure nothing is going to be able to 'cure' it as long as I'm on the medication which is causing it....
Thanx for all your advice guys

    Ugh, it's that time again.

Mine are HORRIBLE. I use carmex ALL the time.
I'm gonna try that Burt's Bees stuff again. I tried it before-seemed okay.
