Yup she was there and met everyone and gave everyone tickets to see Keith Urban's Opry induction that night.

So I got to listen to her album tonight because she streamed it to Fan Club members.... SO GOOD! I think you can stream it on itunes now too? There's so much going on. And she had some hilarious comments about things. The first part of the album is reallyyyy dark, some pretty intense stuff. But then she has some lighthearted stuff, and there's one song that I pray to God will be a summer single. 14 songs, and there really aren't any that stuck out at me as weak. Honestly I think Good Girl is one of the weaker songs, because it's not very country but it also isn't the most amazing song in general. I like it, but there are so many songs on the album that are either more country, more emotionally moving, or catchier. I can't wait to own the full thing, AND I was picked for tickets for her David Letterman webcast concert on Monday night Hopefully getting tickets to her sitdown interview too.. totally making up for not being able to go to Nashville last weekend!

She was at a party a few nights ago with my boy Matt! Imagine if they got married and had babies, I know she's married already but still, those would be cute kids.

Yeah I don't really know what the plans are for her singles on radio there. I'm assuming they're probably pushing GG to Hot AC/Top40 stations, it's not really a country song at all lol. Her album debuted in the Top 10 and sold almost 10,000 copies I think... I don't know how impressive that is for the UK.

It's not great but album sales have been so low lately. Justin Bieber is no.1 this week (shameful) with 38000 but that's pretty low.

Gotcha gotcha. She did a cover of "Fix You" that's getting lots of YouTube buzz and such. Perez posted it yesterday.

Also just announced she's doing a songwriters thing at a club here in Boston next month! It's SO random. It's like a club-type venue that holds only about 1000 people that indie bands usually play at, but she's appearing with some people she's wrote a bunch of songs with, I think to kind of talk about the songs and perform them with the co-writers. So excited! Going to be a really cool event and I can't believe it's happening here... seriously so random, she's only been in the city of Boston to perform once before. All the country acts usually play in the suburban/outdoor venues.
