    Gym Music!

I thought it would be cool if we could all list the music we listen to in the gym. I'm one of these people who can't workout without my music (if I get to the gym and my iPod's battery isn't charged or whatever, I know for a fact I'll work out for about a quarter of what I usually do).

I like to keep the music upbeat and fast, and try not to have too many songs of the same genre (I've made the mistake of having an all techno playlist or all pop playlist and I just get bored really easily).

So yeah, I thought it would be awesome if we can all share songs that give us energy and all that. Here's my list for this month... It's rather lacking, I'm gonna have to add some more. Bolded are the songs that really get me going.

Because We Can - Fatboy Slim
    Open Toes - Kahtarine McPhee
California Dreaming 2004 - Benny Benassi
    Rumors - Lindsay Lohan
    Limbo - Kylie Minogue
    Good Stuff - Kelis
Who The Hell Are You - Madison Avenue
State of Mind - Holly Valance (Best running song EVER.)
    Get Right - Jennifer Lopez
Rock Star (Jason Nevins Remix) - N.E.R.D.
    Catch You - Sophie Ellis-Bextor
    Romeo - Basement Jaxx
I Begin To Spin Around (White Label Mix) - Dannii Minogue Vs. Dead Or Alive
Oh My Gosh - Basement Jaxx
    Love Today - MIKA
Wait A Minute - Pussycat Dolls
Put the Needle on It (Jason Nevins Mix) - Dannii Minogue
Somebody Told Me - The Killers
All Nite (Don't Stop) - Janet Jackson
    Push Up - Freestylers
Hindi Sad Diamonds - Nicole Kidman/Alka Yagnik/John Leguizamo
Find A New Way - Young Love

I don't generally listen to music at the gym. I tend to go when there's football on because it makes me forget how long I've been working out for! If I listen to music, I find myself just watching the timers on the machines.

I have some of the same songs. I'll have to download the ones you have bolded, I'm curious to hear them!

I'll post my list when I get home. I wish there was a way to copy an iTunes playlist into a document, but I don't think there is.

Lately I've been playing the Queer As Folk - Club Babylon soundtrack. It's great cause there's no breaks between the songs they're all just mixed into one continuous song. Makes the time fly and keeps me going.

Sorry I guess I shouldn't listed the tracks on it, sorry!

Boy - Book Of Love (Original mix)
Free - Ultra Nate (Oscar G Space Anthem)
Smalltown Boy - Bronski Beat (Original mix)
True (The Faggot Is You) - Morel (Deep Dish mix)
Spin Spin Sugar - Sneaker Pimps (Armand Van Helden mix)
Fly Again - Kristine W (Scumfrog Club mix)
Appreciate Me - Amuka (Trip To Paradise mix)
Sale From Harm - Narcotic Thrust (Peter Rauhofer mix)
Break For Love - Peter Rauhofer/Pet Shop Boys (Friburn + Unik Tribal mix)
Dive In The Pool - Barry Harris/Pepper Mashay (X-Union mix)
Home - Suzanne Palmer (Offer Nissim remix)
Wonder Of It All, The - Kristine W (Offer Nissim remix)
    I Need You - Friburn & Urik
Doesn't Really Matter - Murk (Friscia & Lamboy remix)
Give Me Your Love - Carl Cox (Valentino Kanzyani remix)
Stand Up - Loleatta Holloway (Hott 22 remix)
Lift It Up - Inaya Day (Paulo & Jamie J Sanchez mix)
B More Shake - Afrika Bambaataa (FC Nond remix)
Back To Love - Rachel Panay (Friscia & Lamboy Vocal Anthem mix)
So Many Times - Gadjo (Antoine Clamaran remix)

    Anything up-beat and sexy.

My favorite song to listen at the gym is definitely SexyBack. It makes me do it again, and again and again...

If you can't find anything tell me and I'll be more than happy to upload

If you select all the songs in a playlist and then copy them in an excel spreadsheet, you can paste them on here as a list. That's what I did . You'll have to add the -'s, though.

I dont go to the gym, but I do a lot of long distance running while listening to music between track seasons, and I listen to a lot of Britney & Gwen. I skip over the slower songs and only play the up-tempo ones that keep me going!

Thank you to BRITTANY from c-u.org
