Britney music all over my place of employment

I just needed to share my excitement with people who might actually care HAHAHA, my friends are all like "...Awesome?".

I work at a clothes store in a mall that's mostly geared towards teens, and we finally got a new playlist that's not downright awful/too heavy in the Disney pop. AND THERE'S SO MUCH BRITNEY ON IT!!!! The way it works is that it plays certain music depending on the time of day, day of the week, day of the month, etc... so we're still hearing some of the music for the first time.

So far, the employees' and customers' ears have been lucky enough to hear Circus, Radar, Hold It Against me, Seal It With a Kiss, and I Wanna Go. The last two surprised me so much, considering they're not singles (yet)! I freak out to whoever else is working there whenever I hear a new Britney song And I have definitely heard her more than any other artist so far.

EXCITING! Makes work a little more bearable

I'm just hoping they don't revoke the CD... because we've already come across a few very innapropriate songs and unedited versions of songs too, and they try to be kind of family-friendly so my manager is convinced she's going to get an email any day now telling her to take it off.

3 Weeks ago I went to this club in zurich and just as I entered the room...till the world ends started. And also few weeks ago I heard TTWE so many times on the radio. Thats the reason why she is still in the top 10 after 9 weeks here...

Yesterday I watched a local show here and they played many songs of "femme fatale" in that show. I was very suprised!!

Excuse me, but music in stores is not meant for listening. It is meant for drowning out unwanted background noise of stuff happening throughout the store. If anyone wants to listen to music, they can listen at home on their stereo system.

Well, when you're sometimes in the store for 30+ hours a week, you tend to pay a lot of attention to the music playing, especially if it's not super busy. Also, it's played pretty loudly.

Today I was ringing up a customer and "I Wanna Go" was on and the mom turned to her daughter and was like "Is this Britney?" and I was like "YES IT'S BRITNEY!!!!!!!!!!"

That's an ignorant opinion. I love listening to my favorite music in stores.

Me too! There are times I go into a shop only because I hear a Britney song playing then I leave when it's over.
