I've had a really rough afternoon coming to the realization that he won't be around anymore. That I wont have his freakouts to read when I tweet a new Gaga picture, or when Apple releases the iPad 14 and he can't stop gushing! It is truly amazing to see how one person can bring so much togetherness and adoration from a group of friends.

I feel like Andrew would be laughing and smiling at the huge amount of love and support everyone has confessed for him on Twitter, Facebook, and our little forum home.

I hope you all know just how absolutely cherished you are and having such special people to call my friends means the world.

Let's all have a big glass of red tonight in his memory.

It sounds so ridiculous but I keep thinking how he won't get to hear the new Gaga record as if that's the MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER, but I know he would've loved it.

Mike, I bet the very first thing he did was listen to the album. He's probably rocking out to it right now.

I feel bad because I know I've argued with him about the veggie way of life...what a complete tragedy. He was so young! I know I don't really post much anymore but you guys are what got me through high school. I love you all!

    RIP Andrew.

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet, but in his obituary, it mentions that memorial contributions can be made to a local animal shelter. There is also a guestbook to sign. I don't know if his family will see it, but you never know.

    You can see it here.

Ugh, that is just so sad to read. I keep thinking it can't be real. I love the line about Facebook, haha. I feel like it's some recognition, even if his family wasn't aware, of his online friends.

I think I'm going to donate. I'd like to send flowers for the service but I don't quite have the money for that.

I feel completely awful! I thought it was some demented joke when I saw it posted, but after reading his obituary, I know it's not. I have been crying on and off all day. I told my students it's basically a free day for them because all I can think about is how we lost such an amazing person at such a young age.

He had the best personality, the best smile, such great thoughts, and great beliefs. I would love when he'd defend something he believed in and he didn't care what others thought. His smile was contagious. His posts made me laugh, or at least smile, on a bad day.

It's amazing how close you can feel to someone not ever meeting them. I actually looked at flights from Austin to Columbus to see about going to his funeral, but we have testing that day and I can't take off. So, for sure, I'll be donating to the animal fund. I am a huge animal lover as well.

I'll never understand the purpose of death - why it happens, why it happens when it happens...

If it's true that his brother found him, bless his brother's heart (along with the entire family). I know how hard it was to find my dad. Every day, even now, the image flies through your mind as the last image of that person. I cannot imagine what his brother may be going through.

I KNOW Andrew left knowing how much he was loved. He lived a great life and in a great generation. He experienced major change in politics and pop culture. He experienced meeting some of his favorite celebs (Tabby). He got to watch his favorite people in concert. He started college. It may seem petty, but he had so much...he had such a wonderful life and it'll just keep getting better wherever he's at.

One day we'll all be together...dancing idiots...to Madonna, Britney, Mariah, Gaga, and God knows whoever else will come out that he would have enjoyed. We'll be joking about the crazy things that happened and what he's seen from beyond.

    We love you Andrew.

I can't believe this. When I first saw the posts on his wall, I was beyond confused. He truly was a great person. I remember talking Gaga with him...I always read his status updates.

It is so weird knowing he will no longer be a part of this community. We truly have made such an impact in each other's lives. It's crazy how we have never really met, yet I consider you all such close, close friends.

    May he RIP!
