    Sad news.

It's with a heavy heart that I let you all know that a dear friend, Andrew Hideg has passed away.

He meant a lot to me and to the forum and I'm sure everyone has some fond memories of him. Our friendship developed over our mutual obsession for all things Gaga, Starbucks, technology, reality television, and the wonders of space & science. I'm truly speechless and at a loss for words.

Wherever he is now I hope that he is happy & knows that he will be forever missed.

Rest In Peace, Andrew, you little monster.

Thats heartbreaking He'd been with us for quite a while and I always enjoyed reading his posts. May he rest in peace. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I don't suppose anyone happens to know what happened? Its so untimely

All I know is that someone posted on his facebook wall that his brother found him at his computer desk with a glass of wine. Typical Andrew - loved his computer & his wine!

I'm completely shaken up about it, totally profound the effect that people you've never even met can have on your life.

Someone posted this on his facebook:

'They r sayin what killed him was the diet he was on not enough protein an his heart stopped'

    How tragic

I saw Scott posted on his wall, and without really reading what I clicked on his wall and saw all these messages

It's so sad. I know 99 percent of us haven't ever met in real life, and most of us don't even post on the same forums any more! But we've known each other for so long, and share so many interests with one another... I class you all as my friends.
My heart aches over this news RIP Andrew. You were a great guy x

Andrew was such a sweet guy. It's really hard to comprehend we won't see him posting around here anymore or popping up on Facebook. I can't imagine how his friends and family must be feeling right now--to have someone who was seemingly so healthy and full of life be gone in an instant.

Well said, Neil. I feel the same way. I've been lurking/hanging around these forums since I was 16 and I consider all of you friends. Sending lots of love to everyone who needs it today.

I couldn't agree more with both of you. Most people really wouldn't get it but all of us have grown up and experienced so much together. We've become each other's confidants for situations where we felt like we couldn't go anywhere else and have all clearly made astounding connections with fellow members. We've found safe havens for interests perhaps not shared by the general populous and have created the foundations of fantastic friendships. It really does shake me up to hear this and it really does underscore what the presence of someone in your life can mean, even without meeting them, even as a simple passer by.

I didn't know Andrew nearly as well as most people on here did but I remember we'd always talk about our mad love for 'Life As A House' every time it was brought up and I felt like we found some mutual respect from that, for that, and so much more his presence will truly be missed.

Scott told me first thing this morning and I was completely in shock Andrew and I were very close online friends since 2003, I have been thinking about him all morning today at work he was the one who made me a Mariah Carey fan .

I know I haven't posted much but I think all of you know how much the forums and all of you mean to me, i've been around since the beginning and I consider all of you a big part of my life.

May my Andrew find peace wherever he is, we're all gonna miss him deeply .

This is so shocking I never knew him well but he's always been on these boards since the beginning. I just had a look on his facebook page, there's message after message saying what a great guy he is. Then eventually there's posts he made himself just days ago, living his life, so bizarre
