I'm finally back in college after taking some time off (and going to hair school). Last year, I had moved back into my parents, due to financial issues, thanks to the last job that I had. I got a new job and finally got things situated and just moved back out, and to Columbus, about three weeks ago! I'm now within walking distance of all the places I hang out in the cute artsy/gay area of town and the majority of my friends. (It took me 40 minutes to drive down here before, when I lived at home) I'm so ready to get college finished up and get a new career.
That's amazing for you. I honestly feel really happy for you.

Somewhat of a life change for me... finally got my first "real" job! Not counting babysitting and tutoring. I'm working at an Aeropostale near me. I have orientation on Sunday, but then I'm going away for a week so I hope they don't hold that against me! But in my defense, they told me they would call me a week after the interview and it took them 2 weeks, so I kind of thought I didn't get the job. There are tons of Aeropostales around here and I know people that have worked at other ones that don't/didn't really like it, but my boss seems super sweet and laidback, and I get sick discounts even though I don't really shop there much anymore haha. Plus I think it will be easy to transfer around if I want to work at a different one near me, or when I go back to school if I want to work at one there.

So after graduating high school a few years ago and taking a break from education, I have decided to go to college. I am not sure where I will be going, but it will probably be somewhere in Florida. I would like to take a music course (for vocals), but you have to audition for ANY type of music course and I feel hesitant about that. I do not have a bad voice and I am a good singer, but I feel like you have to be pretty special to get into that type of course. I'd just be going to a regular university not a music school, so I don't think you have to be that great. lol I don't really know though.

My plan is to either just go for it or to take another course just so I can get into the school and then focus on music the 2nd semester. Anyways, it is too late for the fall, so I'll be applying to schools that accept new students during the winter/spring (January).

It's clothes. It's kind of the cheaper and less cool cousin of like Abercrombie or Hollister, haha. No one my age really shops there anymore... it's more of a middle school-aged store. Or at least around here. But they actually do have some really cute clothes without the logo splashed everywhere that I would wear.
