Dave, I think since this was your *amazing* idea you should get to pick the first movie. I am up for watching everything. And then we can like rotate genres, one weeks a comedy, one week horror, one week drama. What I love is that this will open my eyes to movies I may not have necessarily ever watched Yay!

Yea, I think it'd be great to rotate as well! Like one week one person chooses the movie and then the next a different person does so as well and so on and so forth

Haha Im just asking for suggestions because I don't wanna dive straight into something perhaps too 'artsy' and chase people away And I dont wanna pick something too commercial or anything because its not like analysing the different sides of 'Crossroads' will really be all that fruitful hahah!

How did Lucy go form super shy to singing vixen in the space of one song? Had she really touched a penis or was she just trying to look cool? I think there's a lot in there.

I'd be happy to go and see anything arty that's playing at the cinema I work at cos I can go for free

Ok, I am really excited about this!

Last year i set a goal for myself to watch 365 movies in one year, and i did it, and now that its over i have like nothing to do with my life lol. I still feel like i need to be watching movies to keep up, but i have to remind myself that its not a contest anymore lol. This would be the perfect remedy! I've seen a lot of fantastic movies in the last year, and also a lot of really bad ones, so i can give you suggestions if you need them!

Just an aside - I watched 'New York, I Love You' on a flight a week ago... It was horrific. HORRIFIC.

Okay, I think we should get this ball rolling! How about everyone suggests a couple of films and then perhaps we do a poll for the winner and go from there? And then from there we can just rotate so that everyone gets a chance to have their own choice viewed?

    So, let's do this!!

Maybe we could have a person "in charge" of this? I don't know if you are up for it, Dave, since it was your idea! Maybe everyone could PM the person in charge what movie they want everyone to watch and the person in charge could set up a little schedule of which week we watch which movie, you know?

And the person who chose the movie that week can make the thread and start the discussion?

I don't know! I'm just throwing things out there because this thing sounded fun but then nothing happened with it. I know Dave said to make some suggestions but then no one suggested, haha. So hopefully we can get the ball rolling. This will be fun!

Lmao yea, I was hoping to get some suggestions because right now I can't really think of something that would be pleasing enough for most people yet still be able to be analysed

But yea, I like the idea of compiling a list of movies through PM's, it'd make it much more fair!

So yea, I say we should go with that, then!

So if you want, send me a PM with a movie you'd like to get viewed (and please do so, because I'd really like to get this going as well ) and we'll get to this soon!
