Would anyone be interested in a 'movie club'?

What I mean is like, we could try and watch/discuss/analyse a specific movie in a specific period of time (depending on whats best for everyone). We'd set the movie for the time period and if people wanna watch it online we can hopefully provide a few links and then from there we can just take it as a bit of an actual analysis of the movie instead of a sort of 'I liked it' kinda thing

So yea, basically like a book club...but with movies

I think it could be really interesting and we could cover a wide variety of movies from different genres and perhaps expose people to movies they might not have seen!

If you like the idea just say so and I'll figure out a way to get this started

(Yes, Im a movie geek )

Yay! Im glad people like the idea!

If anyone wants to leave some suggestions as to which movie to begin with, please feel free to do so. Taking into account the fact that its award season, I think it'd be nice to go over a few Oscar contenders?

Ooh this sounds great! I'll try and take part if I can get hold of the movie (I don't really like downloading).

I would so love to do this, if the movie is viewable online I can watch at work, or if the time period is long enough I can try and get it from Netflix. I this idea though!

Yay! Glad to see people like the idea!

Anyone wanna throw around any suggestions as to what movie to start with?

I was thinking of something either new AND officially on DVD (to accommodate those who dont like downloading) or simply going with an older movie that should hopefully be easy to get a hold of?

The two I had in mind for the above criteria are 'New York, I Love You' or 'Pink Floyd's The Wall'?

Again, these are just suggestions...what do you guys say?
