    Stupid stupid wireless mouse

I've only had it for a year and I thought it was the battery so I just changed it, but it's still all messed up

I don't know what's wrong with it!! It's like the signal from the mouse to my laptop is messed up. Sometimes it's fine but sometimes it has issues moving or clicking, like I'll move the mouse and it won't move as much as it should on the screen and I have to click a bunch of times.

Is there something I should maybe clean off on it or anything like that?

I had problems with my wireless mouse I had too back in April. I also have had it for a year. I changed the batteries like you did and had no luck. My suggestion is to just buy a plug in mouse.

Haha yeah I do. I'm just not a huge fan of the touch pad mouse thing on laptops. I've obviously been using it more lately though

Ehhhh that's annoying haha. I always had a mouse with a wire until last year. Especially since I'm transporting this between home and school and other places a lot a wireless one is just so much easier Guess I'll see what happens in the next couple weeks. My dad got this one for me as a birthday gift and it was probably really cheap.

There's nothing wrong with wireless mice in themselves! We've had them for YEARS and there's been no problems. It's probably just a fault in this particular mouse. Have you ever tried a wireless LASER mouse? Our Logitech one has been great and the batteries last for ages.

Gretch, I have a wireless mouse/keyboard set, and I literally have the same problem. I can't stand how mine completely bugs out before you have to change the batteries. It won't even remotely operate without fresh batteries. Not to mention, if it's not within a safe distance of the USB device it's tuned to, it goes totally nuts. Talk about flawed technology.

Chalk it up to lessons learned

Just another memory in the back of my mind
Lock it up, throw away the key
Forget the things you promised me
Just another thing I can't forget

Yeah it's just weird because it always worked fine until a couple weeks ago. I'm wondering if me carrying it around in my bag a couple times more than usual hurt it somehow. I've only had to change the battery in it like two or three times and I've had it almost a year.
