well.. she made me do a prego test = neg
then a Pap and she said that everything looked fine.
so idk why it happened...
Wow, that is scary that the doctor came up with nothing!!
I called for an appointment and I wanted a female doctor, there is no appointments. So I said I'd wait, this other lady called me back and told me I really need to come tomorrow and see the MALE doctor. She was nice, she said that dr. is nice, and she prefers a female doctor too, but it could be up to a month before I could get an appointment. So I go in tomorrow to see the male doctor... I really hope it's nothing more serious then the thing I posted. I also hope they can figure out what it is, or else I'll be extra frustrated.
but yeah today the doctor was like well it could be just your birth control if you arent taking it consistantly.which ive missed maybe 1 or 2 days but i try to take them at the same time every day.. but she checked for STDs felt around inside and out and she said it looked fine.. so idk.. guess ill just see if it happens again.
Yeah, hopefully it won't happen again!
And I keep telling myself that, the doctor sees plenty of women everyday, so I know he doesn't care. I'm just worried cuz I'm not sexually active of what it might be... but I just want an answer. It doesn't hurt, but something is definitely not right ha ha.
Okay so I wish I would have had that other thing I posted... Instead I have this...
urethral diverticulum... so basically right now it doesn't hurt, but they say it can basically block your pee and then you get symptoms of a bladder infection. I don't have trouble with that ha ha... but they say the only way to remove it is by surgery... I guess the surgery is pretty minimal, but I don't like the catheter part for a while it says after. Ick. He said he has to talk to the specialist... and then he'll get back to me.
He says the bump is like 1 cm, but it feels bigger for some reason. Ick. The best part is when the guy goes, it's common in older women, but it's an INTERESTING finding in someone your age. It's like... gee golly wow thanks! hahaha, that article says 40-70. I always joke I'm an old lady on the inside, I guess I really am
You're a medical marvel! Well I'm glad at least they know what it is and can do something about it, even if it isn't very nice to go through! Good luck!
And Melissa glad to hear it's nothing serious, I hope you feel better.
Hhmmm, keep us updated, Steph!
I think my Nanna has that.
Perhaps they're slightly different.
COOCH COOCH COOCH
I think they are similar Neil. That one says pouches around the colon and I think mine said pouches around the urethra thing
I don't trust Kaiser though (my hospital/doctors), so I will have to follow up with him to see what the specialist has to say or when I can see them.
I have a question. I'm about a week late for my period and I had unprotected sex last Friday. I'm on birth control pills, but I'm not always perfect with taking them on time and I haven't always taken them daily when on my period. I took Plan B One Step the next day. Today I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. So, what's going on? I don't ever remember having a late period before. It usually comes on time or early.
Mine are almost always late, once it was early and that freaked me out cos it was so out of the norm! Bodies are just weird that way, I wouldn't worry.
I don't think you can tell you're pregnant that soon anyway?
