AH! Can't wait! I love her voice so much, and I can play "The Story" from start to finish. How is her first album?
Her first album is fantastic, Tim! I think it's a bit more produced than her second album, but not in an overdone way.
New album is out! Got it on release day, Oct. 6. I love it- not as instantly as I loved her first two albums, but it flows so well. The only track I skip is "Caroline". I was looking forward to that the most because of Elton John, but it sounds like a ragtime haha. Maybe it'll grown on me.
My favorites are Looking In, Dying Day, Pride and Joy, Bend Before We Break and Oh Dear.
I remember one of her songs was on "Grey's Anatomy" and we were like "Wow! We HAVE to hunt this woman down..." Her voice was sooo lovely.
But we kinda forgot about her and I started obsessing about Emiliana Torrini instead. Thanks for reminding me about Brandi! I'm gonna make up for lost time.
I loved her new album, as well as the 2 preceeding "Giving Up The Ghost."
I mean, how amazing is "That Year"?
Chalk it up to lessons learned
Miles walked and bridges burned
Just another memory in the back of my mind
Lock it up, throw away the key
Forget the things you promised me
Just another thing I can't forget
Just another thing I won't forget
