    The X Factor - Series 6

    Starts next Saturday.
I am *mildly* excited, although disappointed that the auditions and even the boot camp are held in front of a live audience.
Also, results show will be on a Sunday now. Which I quite like the idea of.

    From wiki:
However, Glaswegian audtionees had already been judged through the previous format, meaning that they had to apply again as their initial audition was void.[10]
    How awful!

This sucks cos I work every Saturday now so I won't get to see it! They usually repeat on Sundays don't they?

My friend got down to the final 24... and got knocked back.

She auditioned in Glasgow - and has got Red hair (dyed). Keep and eye ou for her...

Final 24 would mean she made it to the 'Judges House', right?

Sorry - Let me explain it better.

I meant she got through to the last stage before the Judges Houses where they all get called into the room (as a group) and told.

Last time she audtioned (the first ever Xfactor Series) Simon said some nasty stuff to her (I laughed, and she was ridiculed for it after), and this time simon apologised and said sorry etc. The stuff she was telling me about it was SO funny. She said that Cheryl Cole is gorgeous in real life, and that Simon should ease up on the botox! She said Dermot and Holly were so lovely! One day it began at 5am and didn't finish to 1am the next morning!

She did tell me who got through though.... its hush hush haha..But she knows someone who is in the final.

Appartently Simon said he wants a Girl Group to win and he actually created a Girl Group out of some of the people who didn't get through, and then put them into the next (and final) stage.

I can't wait for Cheryl every week!!! She has totally re-energized the show, I'm so excited.

I can see Simon wanting a girl group to win, and I can see a girl group winning. But really... Girls Aloud, Sugababes, The Saturdays, Girls Can't Catch... Do we need another?!

WHOOO ELSE WATCHED IT LAST NIGHT?!

CHERYL IS A GODDESS I AM SO GLAD I'LL BE GETTING WEEKLY DOSES OF HER.

My favorites were the 19 year old single mom and the guy at the end... Although, was I the only one or did he remind anyone else of Will Young? He looks exactly like him! I kind of liked the 2 guys in the school uniforms that Simon hated, simply because I have a soft spot for totally obnoxious, over the top, shameless people.

And of course Triple Trouble were the greatest and clearly needed to have been put through to bootcamp innit bruv.

Triple Trouble... LMAO. Gosh, what did they look like! How cringe worthy.

Danyl was great, what a weird spelling for his name though. I can see why Simon said his was the best audition he had ever seen, he was the only person who actually used the audience to his advantage and put on a performance. Or at least, the only one that was shown anyway.

I like the audience I thought they would be vicious like the BGT audience, and that would just ruin it for me. I miss acapella auditions though.

I'm not really into the audience being there. That's the style for BGT and it works but it's just cruel really for this show! I liked that guy who was really into Girls Aloud and sang their song, not that he could sing!
