    THIS WEEKEND AAHHH *DEAD*

    Wes Anderson > Everything

Shame this obviously has no chance at 'Best Animated Feature' at the Oscar's this year with 'Up' in the running

^Didn't you see the new preview though, Dave?

"Proof that Pixar doesn't have a monopoly on heartfelt and funny animation."

Seriously though, UP will win regardless of how good this movie is haha. I am excited to see it though!

I know, but in general its been getting mixed reviews (critics are luke-warm and fans are sort of wishy washy :-/ especially in comparison to the book). Like you said, no matter how spectacular this may be- the Oscar is uncontestedly going to 'Up' in the animated category lol

Ok, I just got home and I LOVED this movie. I was terrified to look away from the screen for fear that I would miss something important. Loved all the dancing and all the animalistic eating and fighting sections. Though I might die laughing every time Boggis and Bunce would try to talk to Bean and end up in a big jumble of words.

Totally loved the relationship between Ash and Kristofferson too. Wished Owen Wilson had been in it a bit more too.

I want to see it again! There were so many gorgeous moments that I want to relive, most of which contained water (in the sewer or the river - so awesome to watch.) Thought there were a lot of random tears though haha, the characters seemed to well up a lot for no real reason.

    And the wolf! Hilarious.
