    Friday the 13th movies

Okay so I've decided to do something productive with my time when I'm not babysitting and doing things with friends... I'm going to watch all of the Friday the 13th movies, and hopefully all the Freddie/Nightmare on Elm Street ones too

So I started today with the first Friday the 13th and I looooved it hahahahaha. Oh my gosh, it was so goofy. I have a feeling the later ones are going to be scarier because they were made later than 1980 and look more real???

    Spoiler:
Because I almost died laughing when Jason's mom got her head hacked off

Also... didn't realize Kevin Bacon was in it!!!! As soon as I saw Jack I knew it was Kevin though... he looked sooo young!

So has anyone seen ALL of them?? I'm kind of a lame-o when it comes to scary movies. In fact I'm only going to be watching these during the day lol.

    LOOOOOOOOVE PART SIX!!

Other favorites are 4, 7, and the remake from this year.

Kill her Mommy! Kill her! Part 1 just makes me laugh, and I mean, who can enjoy a Friday the 13th movie without Jason?!

Part 5 is a complete waste of time (you'll know why after you watch, Gretch) and I thought Jason Goes to Hell was beyond horrible.

    Here's probably my order:

    6
    7
    Remake
    4
    Freddy Vs Jason
    Jason X
    1
    3
    8
    Jason Goes To Hell
    2
    5

I bougt all the freddy movies to watch as well, but he *actually* scares me, so as I own them all I haven't seen them

Is he?!?!?! See my problem with scary movies is that if they're too realistic or suuuuper creepy, I get scared at night I know that's so lame but I'm telling the truth. I haven't seen thaaat many scary movies because of it. Like I saw "The Cell" which is just so warped and creepy and GROSS, and I was afraid to go in my unfinished & dark basement alone for like a month because I kept thinking I was going to see a guy hanging by his skin from the ceiling And this was like 9 months ago, I wasn't even a little kid

So are the Freddy movies really going to creep me out do you think? I'm not sure it's worth it if they will. I mean I was fine with this first Friday the 13th because it was so fake-looking and honestly just goofy...

I was hoping to watch part 2 tomorrow but I don't think I'm going to have time. Guess it will have to wait until Friday! I'm going to need to be more disciplined about this if I want to get them all watched by the end of August lol.

Well Freddy is a pretty far stretch and pretty far from taking realistically. But I love the idea- a child molester/torturer who was burned to death in life comes back in dreams and kills you. I mean, you HAVE TO DREAM! You can't escape him, so scary haha. And his weapon- The glove!

You gotta give the original a chance though! I don't think you'll feel it's too scary because it's SUCH A STRETCH, but it's good!

Yeah it's definitely a far stretch... he used to scare the bejesus out of me as a little kid... but so did Chucky.. and I finally over came the fear and watch Chucky and thought it was hilarious. So I will give Freddy another chance one day. But it's exactly what Cleve said, I love the idea of it, and the idea that you HAVE TO SLEEP EVENTUALLY and that you are EVENTUALLY TOAST is the BEST EVER

Just finished part 2 Omggggg so bad!!! The only good part was the last 15 minutes or so when the only person in that movie with even half a brain was clever enough to pose as Jason's mom for a minute.

Haha I'm not giving up at all!!!! I think they're very entertaining. Even though the 2nd one was bad, it was so bad it was funny.

I love how there's always a couple that has sex and then gets killed
