    Silly problem

Okay I have a silly problem that probably has a very simple solution.

I tried to print something off Microsoft Word the other day but it didn't work and froze up Word. Well, nothing is working to get the MS Word window away. I've turned on and off my laptop like 5 times since then and it's still there. CTRL ALT DELETE does noooothingggg. And when I go into that window, it still has the waiting sign for the cursor and hitting the red x does nothing. It also doesn't work if I right click the tab and try to delete it that way. I can't minimize it or anything.

So basically I haven't seen my desktop in a couple days now.

    Help??

You mean the key with the picture of the Window on it, right? There's no other Windows key that I can think of lol But that didn't do anything...

OHHH I thought you meant key as in key on the keyboard

Well... I did that, but I don't see where to go from there? A bunch of programs came up but I didn't think any of them would help me.

Sorry I'm so computer illiterate lol.

If I get a chance I'll ask my brother, he usually knows about these things.

Gretch, you press them both at the same time, lol.
What it does it minimizes all your windows, and 'shows the desktop'.
So... you shouldn't be seeing a list of programs!

Okay I am seriously so sorry but I'm clearly missing something lol. I tried clicking on the Start menu button with the window on it AND d at the same time and it just listed a bunch of programs in the start menu that had to do with the letter "d".

Brother's suggestions! Try disconnecting your printer because that might be the problem if it occured when you tried to print. If that doesn't work go to the start menu and search for a file called normal.dot and delete it! Hope either of those works!
