Today at the gym I threw rowing into the mix (I usually just do a half hour of biking, a half hour of running, and a half hour of elliptical)... and HOLY SHIT I nearly died. I now understand why it's called 'Power Training'. I did 7 minutes and then thought I was going to vomit. It's my goal to be able to do it for 20 minutes by the end of August.

So I got on the scale the other day and realized how big I got. I hit 200. So disgusting. So I started counting calories, carbs, etc. When I first did it, I realized how much "shit" I ate. Now I'm having a hard time hitting my calorie levels, but I'm eating better and more?! Like I used to pig out on sammiches or chips...now I eat carrots and salads. And I get full....

I work with my mom for now, which causes tons of sweat. I swim. I wanted to go to the gym but my toe is still not being cooperative. lol I haven't gotten on a scale yet, but I'm hoping I lost some. They said by February I should lose 60 pounds at a healthy 1-2 pounds a week...

Chary is like my inspiration, seriously. She just did it, and she did it the right way through hard work. Makes me realize I *can* do this if I put my mind to it.

Angel, I totally know how that feels. I'm too chicken to put my weight on here (LOL) but I am the biggest I have EVER been and just the very thought of that makes me absolutely sick. I recently looked up on this site how many calories it would take for me to maintain the weight I'm at (cause I've been around the same weight now like 3 months maybe?) going down a few pounds every now and again... and when I saw how many calories it took I was disgusted. The thing is I don't eat a ton of food (believe it or not), but it was the fact that what I was eating was bad. It was mostly fast food, and in one meal I can consume in just even a burger in fries almost my daily allowance or what not.

I wish I had a pool, I have arhtritis in my knees, and they say the best exercise is swimming, but we don't have one and I'm so self conscious to do it like at the gym where they have a pool. I am just so down in the dumps right now, and disappointed with myself... there is no excuse for it.... I just get down and depressed and in turn get lazy.. there is no reason for me to be this overweight...*SIGHS* I need to get motivated again... and it's easy to get motivated, but it's hard for me to stay motivated....

NEVER feel self conscious about going to the gym/using it's facilities. At the end of the day everyone is at the gym for the very same reason - to get healthy. Whether it's someone with 1% body fat and at their ideal weight, or someone looking to lose 300 pounds, they are both there for the very same reason and no one is going to look at you or judge you or anything. Don't let your mind play tricks on you and convince you there's a reason to be ashamed. If anything, people are going to be motivating you and you'll make friends and meet people who can help.

Aw thanks for that! That does make sense, and I will try my best to get over my whole self conscious thing...
