Eh, I feel like the iPhone - in any of it's incarnations - has been the 'ultimate phone' for the past few years. I don't see how anyone would want to upgrade from it, regardless of what version they had.

iPhone is just perfect. Period. All these new stuff being added to it just make it more functional with all the new technological inovations. I have a 3G and I had no need to update to a 3Gs. With the next phone though, I think I will be upgrading.

1 week and 1 day left to go! I already bought a battery charger case (not mophie juice pack air), stylus pens, screen protectors, headset, and a car mount cause I plan on getting the tom tom (gps) app right away.

but, styllus pens won't work on the iphone as it needs heat from a finger. that's why u cant use the touch screen through gloves etc.

Stylus pens actually do work. I tried it. I'm loving it so far. I need to experiment. I'm having trouble with the wi-fi. It asks for a password and I don't know it.

Edit: Regular headphones fit into the headphone hole! I didn't need to buy special headphones.

Question - will I be able to upgrade on my 3gs or will I need to buy a new phone?

Edit: found a video explaining the new features. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdljV2uEs1A
