    iPhone 3GS

I'm tempted to buy one (I do not have an iPhone of any sort at the moment) although if I did have a 3G I wouldn't really be interested in upgrading.

I have a 3G and have no desire whatsoever to upgrade, at all. Most of the features come with the new software update for the 3G, anyway, so I'm not bothered.

Well, I think I'm going to upgrade. I just got it like 2 weeks ago and paid the 300 for it so if i can get something better, i'll be exchanging mine. otherwise, i probably wouldn't upgrade.

I have a 3G and I just got it about a month and so ago, but I dropped it and the screen broke :'( I called at&t and then they transferred me to the Apple representatives and they told me it would be $200 to get the screen fixed, I was like HELLO THATS HOW MUCH I PAID FOR THE WHOLE PHONE!

So I don't know, I'm really dissapointed that they want to charge me all that much to fix the screen so I don't know if I should just forget about the 3g and get one of the new 3Gs or just get a cheaper phone but I really love the iphone

I don't currently have an iPhone... so I'm really really tempted to go ahead and get it. My only problem is that I have another year left with Verizon... and I really don't think I want to wait that long. Which means I have to pay a $175 fee to terminate my contract... on top of the money to buy the iPhone. Eeek!

I would wait if you have another year left, tbch. This time next year they'll be releasing the iPhone3gS2 and hopefully it will come with some major changes, not just they crap they are trying to throw at us this year!

Yeah, Andrew. Wait until next year. The new phone is just crap in terms of new features. I bet that next time this year it will have some better features.

Maury, oh, man, that sucks. How bad did you drop it? I've dropped mine about 4 times and I've had nothing more than a few scratches on the case and the outer shell.

Too late. I gave in and ordered a 16gb 3G S... in white! It's actually a good deal for me, coming from no iPhone at all. (aside from breaking my contract)... the phone has a faster processor and double the RAM. If I had a 3G, I would not have done it... since the update isn't all that drastic from the 3G.

But I couldn't wait any longer.. I've wanted one for so long. Plus, I'm living at home right now so I have some disposable income to play with. haha. Should be here 6/19!!
