^That's my problem with it. It looks like a 13-year-old fan took a really awesome photo of them and turned it into a cover for his iTunes album art. The photo is unbelievably hot, but the font and layout are a joke. This is hands down the worst cover of their careers - and I'm taking into account the atrocious Whole Lotta History CD 2 cover.

Here's the tracklisting, some information about the songs, and a brand-spanking new picture which is apparently the image being used for the cover.

    1. The Promise
    2. The Loving Kind
    3. Rolling Back The Rivers
    4. Love Is The Key
    5. Turn 2 Stone
    6. Untouchable
    7. Fix Me Up
    8. Love Is Pain
    9. Miss You Bow Wow
    10. Revolution In The Head
    11. Live In The Country
    12. We Wanna Party (Bonus Track)

    Notes:
    - Love Is Pain is a track by Cheryl about her husband cheating on her.
    - Live in the Country is a drum'n'bass song that is about moving to the country and (I'm not joking) features animal noises.
    - The Loving Kind is a collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys (!!!)
    - Miss You Bow Wow and Rolling Back The Rivers are contenders for singles, apparently.
    - Revolution in the Head is a dance track that features Nadine rapping.

NADINE RAPPING. ANIMAL NOISES. RIDICULOUS TITLES. EXCUSE ME WHILE I IMPLODE WITH EXCITEMENT.

    The Pet Shop Boys wrote about 'The Loving Kind' on their website;

While working with the Xenomania team, we ended up co-writing a song for Girls Aloud called "The Loving Kind". It's on their new album, "Out Of Control", which will be released early in November. I love it - it's beautiful but still dancey - and there's talk of it being released as a single. We first got involved with Xenomania because they'd written and produced great songs for Girls Aloud like "Biology" and "Call The Shots".

the track titles sounds sooo un-girls aloud. but i'm so unbelievably excited for this, so who cares!

Someone on Popjustice said, before "The Promise" had been announced as the single, that the girls where trying to choose between 2 songs for the lead single - "The Promise" and "The Loving Kind". I cannot wait to hear it!

I know what you mean about the un-Girls Aloud sounding track names. I'm a bit apprehensive but still excited as fuck!

A nice write-up by the Observer Music Monthly. They always have such great articles about Girls Aloud.

Here's We Wanna Party, the bonus song, as originally sung by Lene from Aqua. (This ISN'T Girls Aloud).

It's the second Lene song they cover, the first being 'Here We Go' from What Will The Neighbours Say?. It's OK, I'm glad it's just a bonus track. Interesting to see that they named the album after a lyric from this song.

so it actually IS the Lene song! I haven't listened to it in ages.

I can't believe they'd cover it, but i'm sure i'm probably 1 in about 20 people who will actually know that it was a Lene song, so its all good.
