    "Edge Of Glory" music video.

I was sort of expecting, you know...something to happen.

There is apparently some drama brewing over this video. It was originally supposed to be directed by Joseph Khan, but something went down on set, and Lady Gaga allegedly fired him on day 3 of the video shoot, and sent all the dancers home, and shot the above music video herself.

Apparently Laurie Anne Gibson has been posting some bitter tweets in regards to the video, and people are speculating that she may have been fired as Gaga's choreographer.

    Yikes.

Well, it's perfect the way it is. My favorite video of hers.

Its by no means a bad video, just maybe a little uneventful for a 5+ minute track. She looks gorgeous, the set its nice and its beautifully photographed. I just wonder what else it was supposed to be.

I appreciate the simplicity but it's soooo boring. And the cheap set doesn't help. Neither does her emotionless and bored face.

Let me state my love for Gaga here (though I am with everyone on the edge of glory). I been to her concert pre-monster ball (when pokerface was just out) in Amsterdam. She was just so full of energy and playing the piano with her feet and desperately trying to play popstar without the means (like, just 2 dancers). And then it was awesome to see the Monsterball (O2 arena, London) where she had enough money to be a real popstar. But lately she's been a bit disappointing to me as she feels 'fake' in performances (like the 'hair' piano, it's just so obvious). And this video and the drama does not make me happy. Hope her next video and single is kick-ass and inspiring once again, like Bad Romance.
