    Wii Preorders Start Tommorow!

That's right! I've read that many stores will be doing midnight openings & such. Nintendo have said that they will have 2 million consoles at launch in the US.

    Most stores have sold out!
Well I showed up outside the mall at about 6AM today, and there were already some people sitting in their cars. It was in the 30's, so nobody was getting out, but eventually I saw a couple guys go try the doors to see if they were open, so I went out and started talking to them. Eventually we got our chairs and camped at the doors, so all the people waiting in cars came out too. We froze our asses off until the security guard opened up at 7:30. I was second in line when we lined up outside the EB, and people kept filtering in until we had around 45 people in line at about 8:30, when the manager showed up. She informed us that they'd be only getting 13 Wiis and everyone behind #13 in line was SOL. She then handed out numbers. At 10 they opened, I was second to reserve mine + Zelda, Excite Truck and an extra Wiimote + nunchuck.

Funny story: The #14 guy in line came up after the crowd dispersed and offered anyone 100 bucks for their ticket. Nobody took it, and eventually he went up to 150. The #3 guy took the cash. The #4 guy in line had his buddy with him, but since his buddy wasn't buying a Wii he didn't get a ticket...#4's buddy was pretty mad that he didn't think about selling it
It's crazy to think that 2m Wiis might be sold already.

Zelda: Twilight Princess hype thread! (new trailer page 2)

Sooo close! Here's what happens in the first six hours of the game according to Edge magazine:
    Spoiler:

Edge this month basically tells you everything up to the first dungeon. There's some nice stuff here, so I've typed it up. If it's old...damn.
    Items:
Before the first dungeon, you will have: learned combat and horse riding, aquired a fishing rod and caught fish, got a slingshot, a lantern, and a "horseshoe-shaped reed" that calls Epona, and "bird shapped reeds" that call hawks to your arm, that you can throw at bees' nests or monkeys.

    Story:
You rescue a couple of children and a monkey from moblins in the woods. Link's on his way to Hyrule to deliver a sword and shield. But shit, Moblins on boars attack, abducting "Colin" and Ilia, and Link gets dragged in to the Twilight, at which point he transforms in to a wolf. He wakes up chained in the ruins of Hyrule Castle, and Midna helps him escape.

With Midna on Wolf Link, you can attack multiple enemies at once with a circular energy around Link, kinda like the spin attack, which you have to do cos the enemies in the Twilight Realm often revive their dead buddies. Wolf Link then goes to meet Zelda, who can tell from the blue eyes that he's actually Hyrule's Savior! He then goes to the non-Twilight village, still as a wolf. People are scared of Wolf Link, but he can talk to animals. He then saves the nearly-Twilight Faron Woods by hunting down shadow insects and collecting the tears of light they've consumed, restoring Light Spirits, AKA Great Fairies. The Light Spirit then makes Link human again. You're then on your way to the first dungeon.[/COLOR]

    Can't wait!!!
